For investors who will be purchasing 300 or more shares per position, we recommend brokersXpress Newport Beach. BX Newport Beach is a boutique subsidiary of optionsXpress and they handle the majority of our client's accounts. The trading platform has consistently been rated the best in the business and Gregg Guioll and his team provide first class customer service.

The BX trading platform allows the use of SSR, CPR and LEAPS techniques in a retirement account (IRA, 401k etc).

Interactive Brokers

For investors with smaller accounts who will be purchasing 200 shares or less per position, we recommend Interactive Brokers as they provide the industry's cheapest commissions. While highly effective, the trading platform does not have as many features as brokersXpress Newport Beach and is also a little more difficult to use. IB is aimed at professional investors and, as such, does not provide a high level of customer service and support.
